Donate an item for our Silent Auction at the PROUD TO BE A DEMOCRAT Fundraiser!

The Marion County Dems are getting ready for our annual Proud To Be A Democrat Fundraising Dinner on May 11th and we’re looking for donations for our very popular SILENT AUCTION!

With 200-300 attendees at our fundraiser, our Silent Auction had lots of eyes on the prize and raised an impressive amount! We look forward to seeing your ingenuity!

A few ideas for Silent Auction donations that attract lots of attention and bids include—

• Gift Certificates for Local Businesses with a total value of $50 or more
• Gift Baskets with a value of $50 or more – Please include a list of contents. Examples of themes include wine & cheese, gardening, baby, spa, automotive, tea time, equestrian, etc.
• Newly purchased item with a value over $50: Go to Target, Walmart, Sam’s Club or your other favorite shopping experience and find something on sale that people would love. For example, jewelry, electronics, a croquet set for the yard, etc.
• Offer your vacation home or timeshare for a week.
• If you’re a talented professional, such as a landscaper, plumber, electrician, home decorator—offer your services for an hour or two.
