BREAKING NEWS: The U.S. Senate will be taking a vote on SJ Res 4 THIS WEEK

Senate Majority Leader Schumer announced yesterday that the Senate will debate and hold a vote on SJ Res 4, the resolution that affirms the validity of the EQUAL RIGHTS AMENDMENT, this week.

We expect the floor debate on Wednesday and then the vote on Thursday, likely followed by a press conference. Between now and this vote, it is crucial that you contact both Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott and your US House Rep to tell them to VOTE FOR EQUALITY.

A non-partisan, national petition campaign called Sign-4-ERA to support the Equal Rights Amendment was started at the time of the announcement. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, former Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, and feminist leader Gloria Steinem were the first signers.

Please make sure you SIGN and SHARE this petition immediately:

This is the first time in 40 years that the ERA will be voted on the Floor of the U.S. Senate.
