Members of the Marion Dems allied with NOW of Marion County and other supporters of Womens’ healthcare rights to peacefully protest on the corner of Pine and Silver Springs Blvd. on January 20th, receiving mostly warm reception by passing vehicles.
The signs were colorful, impactful and denote the strong support for seeing abortion rights on the ballot this fall. With over a million petitions signed, the feminine side of Florida and their supportive male counterparts have made a statement that will be echoed from coast to coast in elections this year, as it has been in state special elections since the fall of Roe v. Wade.
