Florida Dems have been on the move throughout October, gathering momentum for the 2024 election year with a strong turnout at the State Election. Just a few of the many notable October activities included —
- FDP released a joint statement of solidarity with Chair Nikki Fried, House Democratic Leader Fentrice Driskell, and Senate Democratic Leader Lauren Book. You can read this here.
- First Lady Dr. Jill Biden was welcomed to Florida by the Florida Dems as she visited the military families at the Patrick Space Force Base, and as she joined Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz for a Cancer Survivorship Summit.
- Florida also welcomed Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg as he stopped by the Port of Miami and toured the Brightline to promote the Administration’s investment in transportation infrastructure.
