Identifying Your Candidates

To find out who are the Democratic candidates running in your district:

  • Thirty days prior to an election, go to the Supervisor of Elections website.
  • Scroll down the home page to the News section. Click Complete Sample Ballot to see all the candidates.
  • If you don’t know your district, you can look that up on the same website:
    • On the Home page, under the Voters drop-down menu, click Check My Registration Status.
    • Fill in your name and date of birth to see a sample ballot for your district, request a mail ballot, check the status of your mailed ballot, and other information.

Come Together For Democracy Rally Captivates Ocala

Over 400 Harris supporters turned out in downtown Ocala for the largest support of democracy in the history of Marion County Coordinated by the Ocala/Marion County For Harris Facebook group, the September 28th rally was over two months in the making and saw nearly 500 people sign up to participate, with many supporting the event with donations for signs, water and more. The Marion County DEC hosted a sign making afternoon at the headquarters that hosted dozens of creative pro-democracy volunteers who created handmade signs for the event, including a huge "Be the Wave—Harris Walz" sign that captured the attention of every passer by. The positive recognition by the vehicles driving by the rally was overwhelmingly in favor, with many honks, waves and thumbs up.
