AUGUST 8th is DEADLINE to Request a Vote-By-Mail Ballot!
THURSDAY, AUGUST 8th, 2024 is the deadline to request a VOTE-BY-MAIL ballot for the Primary Election on August 20th.
Remember to put your ballot in the security sleeve before putting it into the return envelope, and then sign and date the back of the envelope. Don’t put more than one mail ballot in a return envelope. Return your completed mail ballot ASAP. Your mail ballot MUST BE RECEIVED at the Elections Office by August 20th, so we recommend that you fill it out and mail it immediately upon receipt.
- REQUEST your vote-by-mail ballot by calling the Elections Office at 352-620-3290, or visit VoteMarion.gov.
- EARLY VOTING starts on Saturday, August 10th and goes through Saturday, August 17th. Early Voting Hours are 10AM to 6PM. There are nine (9) early voting locations. Visit VoteMarion.gov or call 352-620-3290 to find the location nearest to you.
- PRIMARY ELECTION DAY is Tuesday, August 20th between the hours of 7AM and 7PM.

You must vote at your assigned precinct. You can find your assigned precinct at VoteMarion.gov or call the elections office at 352-620-3290.
BALLOT RECOMMENDATIONS
US Senatorial Candidates: The Democrats running for U.S. Senate are in a primary contest, so we cannot make a recommendation. We encourage you to research the candidates and their positions and choose the candidate you prefer. We’ve included their website links to make this easy!
Judicial Candidates: We can make a recommendation regarding the judicial candidates. We recommend Erin Daly, Heidi Davis, and Barbara Kissner Kwatkowsky.
Republican Candidates: With regard to the Republican candidates on our ballots, we cannot make a recommendation. We encourage you to research the candidates and their positions, and choose the candidate you prefer. You might start your search at Ballotpedia.com.
