What's New

The new website of the Marion County Democratic Party has a few new features and elements you should know about:

Revamped Blog: We've decided to let the blog take its own page on the new site. Party bloggers will be posting all kinds of news, analysis, and opinions on national, state, and local issues. You're invited to participate in the comments section and let your opinion be heard. Just remember to be civil and fair in your words! New service links (those little pictures below each post) are also available to promote good posts you like around the web.

New Media: There is a new media component hooked on to this site which is different from the old one. We now have a YouTube page, where we will be posting video highlights of party affairs and activities, as well as promoting video from campaigns at the national, state, and local levels as they're created. We've also set up a Flickr page to display our photos, and are working with Odeo to get some podcasts going in the near future.

Social Networking: You'll also notice at the footer of the page, links to our Eventful page and our Facebook and PartyBuilder groups. If you're a member of any of these social networking sites, please join us!

Online Store: Marion Democrats now have their own online store. When you buy an item, not only do you get to sport the best party around, but also some of the profit is given to us. Buy a t-shirt and invest in a brighter future for Marion County!
